To clarify the current situation and problems in Life in elementary school science and Nurturing Living Things in junior high school, we investigated previous research on the content of both areas. We suggested that it is necessary to involve elements of technology education in Life in elementary school science. Accordingly, systematic learning between Life in elementary school science and Nurturing Living Things in junior high school will be established. Furthermore, elementary school students will be able to learn about plant products with technology literacy and junior high school students will be enabled to explore their ideas of exploring
