The fauna dates the limestone samples as Late Oligocene and is correlatable with the younger part of the Minamizaki Limestone on the Ogasawara (Bonin) Islands. These shallow-water benthic foraminifera give evidence for the shallow-water attitude of the Kyushu-Palau Ridge during the Oligocene, which has been rifted, submerged, and finally subsided to the present water depth., rights: 日本古生物学会 rights: 本文データは学協会の許諾に基づきCiNiiから複製したものである relation: IsVersionOf: http://ci.nii.ac.jp/naid/110002695239/, text, application/pdf}, pages = {191--204}, title = {Late Oligocene larger foraminifera from the Komahashi-Daini Seamount, Kyushu-Palau Ridge and their tectonic significance}, volume = {4}, year = {2000} }
