C編}, month = {}, note = {This paper describes experimental and analytical investigation on an asymmetric top with three legs(called "oscillatable-rotor")which shows a preference for rotation in one direction. Motion starting with a given initial zenith angle has been experimentally observed to evaluate the characteristics of the oscillatable-rotor. It has been clarified that the oscillatable-rotor transforms oscillation induced by initial potential energy to counterclockwise rotation. Analytical results based on a rigid body model of the oscillatable-rotor agree well with experimental results not only qualitatively but also quantitatively.
