A編}, month = {}, note = {In order to reduce the residual stresses and the residual deformation caused by the sintering process, the compositional profiles of the Functionally Gradient Material(FGM) of ceramics and metal were analysed by FEM. Based on the results, the optimum material design of FGM for the heat loading was performed. The results obtained are as follows. (1)Due to the difference of the contraction along the interface, the deformation occuers along the free edge (x direction) near the interface. This deformation corresponds to the residual stresses along the free edge near the interface. The residual deformation and the residual stress can be reduced by the following methods. i) Increase of the division numbers of interlayers. ii) Taking the aspect ratio of the particles as one. iii) Introduction of the voids in the ceramics.
