This approach is aimed at developing a system functioning as a knowledge base management mechanism like TMS, and which can also manage different representations of knowledge bases collectively. First, we integrate the description of the knowledge base by using the symbolic-expression form. Secondly, in connection with the TMS knowledge management mechanism, we developed a new predicate-logic representation language based on PROLOG to be applied to TMS.
