 note = {Hozoji-numa is a location identified as a national natural monument where Aldrovanda vesiculosa grows wildly. A.vesiculosa is a floating macrophyte threatened by extinction and in need of preservation and scientific study. A survey questionnaire was circulated among the members of the Hanyu-city association emphasizing the importance for conservation of “Mujinamo”. The aim of this survey was to collect information for restoration and renaturalization of the Hozoji-numa wetland and to study whether A.vesiculosa can be grown naturally.
