Using the thermogravimetry with the differential thermal analysis, the effects of the produced carbides (char), under CO2 condition at different temperatures, and/or the different rates of temperature (10 and 90 ℃ min-1) in the system were performed. The activity assessment, ignition temperature, surface areas and calorific value of the carbides were also carried out together with the combustion experiments.
