From current study of SS caisson, it found that skin friction is almost unaffected at compared with three factors (water content of soil, and subsidence speed) from model tests. And it has been understood that the value obtained from the model tests is roughly appropriate from Distinct Element Method analysis. In the model tests on the past, with only silica ceramic balls as gravel.
