The first group are the students of the school located in Yamagawa(Takahata town), the second in Fukushima(Tamagata village), and the last in Tokyo. The former two schools are in rural areas of the northern part of Japan.Tokyo is the most urbanized city and the metropolitan of Japan. To clarify the characteristics of the student's attitude in terms of conventional or traditional thought and so on, we compared their attitudes with one another among the three areas, Yamagata, Fukushima and Tokyo. The major findings are as follows. 1. Today, in rural districts, few people are engaged in agriculture and most people work in various companies as well as in Tokyo. In particular,this is the case with young people. 2. Both in Yamagata and Fukushima, the ratio of the extended family of grandparents, parents and their children living together in the same house is much higher than in Tokyo. In contrast, the most typical type of the family in Tokyo is the one called "nuclear" family, which doesn't include any grandparents. 3. In general, high school students aren't interested in the social issues, for example medical, political, or social welfare problems. They concentrate their attention on amusements. 4. Students are not as conventional, traditional or authoritative in their thinking as their parents. Many of the students give priority to their own preferences over their parents views. 5. A good many students make male and female friends with ease. However, it seems that female students are more active in making dates., text, application/pdf}, pages = {63--85}, title = {高校生の地域・生活に対する態度と人間関係 : 山形,福島,東京の比較を通した分析}, volume = {42}, year = {1993}, yomi = {バンザイ, トモヒデ and イタモト, ヨウコ} }
