 note = {The instruction of toothbrushing and the dental checkup are planned and carried out as school events by school nurses and dentists in the elementary schools. because it is an important period in which the permanent teeth grow to replace the milk teeth. In particular, it is very important to learn the knowledge and the skills of "plaque control". the means to prevent tooth decay and periodontitis by the repression or the removal of the plaque formation. Therefore. we made a "breath checker" equipment experimentally to instruct toothbrushing more effectively and let the pupils be more interesting in it. Because the breath checker is small and needs no external power supply. it can be used as a movable equipment in the classroom. The condition of the breath is graded and indicated in six grades according to the strength of the unpleasant smell.
As the result of the practice of the equipment on the class, it is considered that we have succeeded in instructing the necessity of the continuous toothbrushing much effectively., text, application/pdf},
