Then, under the experimental condition of 28℃ and 60% humidity, micro-climate and comfort of bras were compared when female students as test subjects worn nursing bras with mammy pads in a dry state and also in a wet state by infusing it with 4ml water. We tested three types of mammy pads made of different materials: disposable pad, all cotton fabric pad, and all polyester fabric pad.\n(1) More than 10g mother’s milk was sometimes adhered to mammy pads in daily life. The wearing test of the females in the period of lactation showed that there was high-humidity within the pads and lack of sanitary environment.\n(2) The temperature and humidity of the bras inside the disposable pads used for experiments with the female students did not show any change from the dry state to the wet state. However, the two fabric pads showed a rapid decrease in the temperature and a rise in the humidity when water was infused.\n(3) Sensory tests of the bras showed no difference in the use of three types of mammy pads in the dry state.
