Social movements and their actors have been important subjects in social science study. Social movements have been major objects in sociology, namely among theory of collective behaviors, functionalism, mobilization of resources theories and Marxism, etc. However they don’t have validity enough to analyze social movements of today. Therefore, it is indispensable to have an alternative view to methodological issues of analysis on that. Firstly, this paper refers to social movements theories. They distinguish such actions that they claim against existent organizations from that they are deviant (Merton). There are also “rational, self-interested individuals” in a movement (Olson). Recent Marxism identifies not only economic contradictions as a cause of movements but also cultural and social factors (Touraine). Then A.Melucci arranges these contributions systematically, and suggests an original theory of “New Social Movements”. He observes a social movement as a collective action which is oriented to “conflicts,” “solidarity” and “breaching of the systems limits of compatibility.” These terms are keys of theory of Melucci. “Conflicts” contend not only for material resources but also for symbolic ones. “Solidarity” suggests interaction between actors in the movements. “Breaching of the systems limits of compatibility” implys that the movements erode existent order, norm and system. Through these theories, social movements can be understood more analytically., text, application/pdf}, pages = {113--126}, title = {いまを生きる社会運動の行為者 : A. メルッチの集合行為論を中心に<人文・社会科学>}, volume = {61}, year = {2012}, yomi = {ホサカ, ナオト and シブヤ, ハルヨシ} }
