Faculty of Education}, month = {}, note = {Home economics classes were conducted in junior high schools implementing the wearing of the Yukata, where students in groups of two or three were asked to coordinate and put on Yukata and Obi of their own preference. Instructions were devised so that boys and girls could be efficiently taught of their respective ways to put on the Yukata, and to convey information on how to put on the Yukata in a correct way. Each student was asked to evaluate on their own performance for the coordination by looking at their photos. It was revealed from the results that students felt they were able to understand how to wear the Yukata, even through group teaching, and that their evaluation for the performance was higher than the results from other previous studies. The students who modeled for the performance stated that they enjoyed wearing the Yukata and felt a growing excitement. All students were asked to select and state the reason for their favorite choice after they were shown the slides of all the coordination. Sequence of these classes seems to have become a good opportunity for the students to experience enjoyment in wearing and to feel the effect of clothing on constructing images. Their interest towards the Kimono grew significantly after the classes were conducted, and feedback of their impressions include ‘merits of Japanese-style clothing’, ‘would like to be involved more aggressively in the Kimono culture’ and ‘image and coordination’. From these results, we conclude that our program, as well as providing opportunities to pass on the cultural tradition, can connect to the study of wearing within the study of the clothing life., text, application/pdf}, pages = {67--81}, title = {文化の伝承を手がかりとする衣生活学習への試み : ゆかたの着装を題材とした教育プログラムの検討<教育科学>}, volume = {62}, year = {2013}, yomi = {カワバタ, ヒロコ and コバヤシ, ユミ and カトウ, ジュンコ and サツモト, ヤヨイ and サイトウ, ヒデコ and ノミヤマ, イサコ} }
