 note = {The purpose of this paper is to clarify Jacob Viner on cost curves from the point of the Cambridge cost controversy and Marshall’s economics, and the relationship between “Chicago School” and “Robbins Circle” in LSE. The first chapter deals with the introduction of J. Viner’s various contributions. The second chapter deals with Cambridge cost controversy and J. Viner on cost curves such as external economies and internal economies. The third chapter investigates Viner’s ideas on cost curves with some materials and various related papers in “Lectures in Economics 301”, and we contrast Viner’s arguments with the feature of “Robbins Circle”.
