This program prompts students actively debate in class based on research data that were obtained from our long investigations of aquatic fauna in Hozoji pond, a natural habitat of Aldrovanda vesiculosa L. Materials handed out to the group of students for debate were as follows: (1) A short description of the almost extinct aquatic carnivorous plant, A. vesiculosa, (2) A graph depicting the change of the number of A. vesiculosa in Hozoji pond from 2011 to 2016, (3) A stacking graph of aquatic fauna in Hozoji pond 2011-2016, (4) The chronology of the number of aquatic animals 2011-2016, (5) A graphic representation of the food web in Hozoji pond, (6) A list of aquatic animals categorized by their origin, (7) A food web in Hozoji pond with predatory preference, (8) A description of what aquatic animals were eaten by human more than 40 years ago. Given these materials, students had to figure out by themselves environmental problems in Hozoji pond and then propose a plan to save A. vesiculosa. During the program trial, all the students participated in debating, the discussion was very lively and none of the groups ran out of ideas. Questionnaires handed out to 34 students after the program trial showed that most of the students noticed a complex relationship in the food web of the pond and deduced that a plan to save A. vesiculosa would have to maintain the balance of the ecosystem in the pond. Some students commented that they wanted to consider environmental problems near their local community hereafter. The theme and contents as well as amount of the materials in the program we developed were sufficient for junior high school students to learn by debate and think deeply about nature and the role of humans in it., text, application/pdf}, pages = {609--622}, title = {地域に密着した環境保全をテーマとした学習指導の開発 : ムジナモ自生地宝蔵寺沼の水生動物相調査を事例として<数学・自然科学>}, volume = {66}, year = {2017}, yomi = {ヨシダ, タツヤ and タバタ, ユウキ and イトウ, ヒロアキ and ヤマモト, コウキ and ヤベ, トオル and カネコ, ヤスコ and ヒビノ, タク} }
