However, a decrease in the farmland and the plain woods is remarkable in today's Santome Area advance by urbanization. Mainly included Kawagoe City and Tokorozawa City peculiar problem exists in the Material-Recycling type agriculture of the plain woods use type in the Santome Area though under Basic Law of Agriculture the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Saitama Prefecturework on the maintenance of the promotion policy and the plain woods in the urban agriculture land.
