At the same time, we also explore the process of political socialization from children to adults. This is based on the results of three surveys targeting junior high school students, high school students, and voters conducted in Saitama City following the elections of the Upper House of the Diet in July 2016. Young people do not believe in their vote, are dissatisfied with politics, and distrust politicians.
