However, it is recognized that a ball throwing skill is still kept low level. Because of such backgrounds, this study aimed to develop a new teaching program to improve students’ ball throwing skills by using sport onomatopoeia in primary school physical education classes. This study took four steps equivalent to one cycle of the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle. At the first step (Plan), a teaching program consisting of five kinds of ball throwing drills, all of which include sport onomatopoeia, was developed. At the second step (Do), the program was carried out with fourth grade primary school students (N=35), with pre- and post-tests of a ball throwing skill. At the third step (Check), the effectiveness and problems of the teaching program were checked, based on the results of the pre- and post-tests. At the final step (Act), the revised version of the teaching program, mainly focusing on the angle of a released ball, was proposed. Further revisions should be taken because there is a possibility that sport onomatopoeia can make students’ throwing skills effectively advanced., text, application/pdf}, pages = {273--287}, title = {小学校体育授業におけるスポーツオノマトペを利用した投能力向上プログラムの開発<教育科学>}, volume = {67}, year = {2018}, yomi = {アカガワ, シュウタ and モリタ, サトシ and フルタ, ヒサシ} }
