The response rate was highest when targeted respondents were contacted by survey staff who visited the household to call for participation, second highest when survey staff posted a set of documents to call for participation without seeing anyone in the household, and lowest when other household members than targeted respondents were contacted. In comparison to the Internet survey using a registered panel, the proportion of respondents aged 60 or over was apparently lower, while many of the other variable estimates were similar.
