The model is composed of four steps: a. presenting an event that makes pupils feel questions and be interested b. facilitating conceptual understanding by using teaching strategies c. presenting problems to be solved by applying learned scientific concept d. presenting stories that connect learning with careers Experiment lessons were carried in units of 4th grade "Enclosed air and water" and 6th grade "Leverage" at an elementary school. Questionnaire surveys before and after the series of lessons to investigate the change of their attitudes toward studying science and tests of ability to apply learned scientific concept to surrounding matters and events were conducted.
