These surveys were conducted after the 2016 House of Councilors elections, 2017 House of Representatives elections, and 2019 House of Councilors elections. The results of the survey show a reduction in the students’ interest toward elections and motivation for voting in these three years. At the same time, there has been a significant decline in the degree of dissatisfaction with politics, and mistrust of politicians.
