 note = {新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大によって、対面式調査である出口調査は大きな困難に直面した。マスク着用や消毒液携行などの対応に追われ、感染の危険性を考慮して調査を中止した例もあった。警戒態勢の長期化の中で、各自治体選管による投票所対応を参考に、対応の仕方は定式化してきたように思われる。調査対象者も、特に調査に神経質になる傾向は見られない。ただしつねに、地域の感染発生状況を考慮しつつ、委託調査の場合は委託先会社と緊密な連携を取って、スタッフ、調査員、対象者それぞれに感染の危険がないよう明確な対応と指示を行うことが重要である。
