{"created":"2023-05-15T15:29:31.595645+00:00","id":19242,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"c22007aa-44ef-4342-afa7-e5ca76da6c3c"},"_deposit":{"created_by":3,"id":"19242","owners":[3],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"19242"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:sucra.repo.nii.ac.jp:00019242","sets":["92:760:978"]},"author_link":["17927"],"item_120_alternative_title_1":{"attribute_name":"タイトル（別言語）","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_alternative_title":"Documentary Photographs and Anti-Vietnam War in Japan : The Kitakyusyu Anti-Vietnam War Youth Committee and Its Direct Action to Stop the Transportation of U.S. Ammunition Supply"}]},"item_120_biblio_info_8":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2021","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicIssueNumber":"18","bibliographicPageEnd":"146","bibliographicPageStart":"93","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"日本アジア研究 : 埼玉大学大学院人文社会科学研究科博士後期課程 (学際系) 紀要"},{"bibliographic_title":"Journal of Japanese & Asian studies","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_120_date_31":{"attribute_name":"作成日","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_date_issued_datetime":"2021-05-12","subitem_date_issued_type":"Created"}]},"item_120_description_19":{"attribute_name":"概要","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"　本稿は、福岡の「青年労働者」の青年運動組織である社会主義青年同盟福岡地区本部が1968 年に撮影し、集会や学習会などで巡回展示に活用した記録写真について、時代や地理的な文脈とともに紹介・解説するものである。そのうえで、社会運動や労働運動などの史料としての記録写真が持つ意味や、解釈上の問題、ヴィジュアル史料ならではの意義はどういった点に見出せるのかについて、若干のコメントをおこなう。\n　写真記録の主たる対象は、北九州市方面在住の社青同福岡の同盟員が中心となって結成された北九州反戦青年委員会が1968 年に展開したベトナム反戦の非暴力直接行動である。中心となった行動は、北九州市の中ほどに位置した米軍山田弾薬庫への弾薬輸送阻止闘争である。ただし、写真記録には、北九州反戦青年員会が最初に取り組んだ北九州市「合理化反対闘争」が冒頭に配されているほか、RF-4C ファントムジェット偵察機が九州大学に墜落したあとの現場風景やその直後に板付基地撤去を求めて行なわれた「板付闘争」を記録した写真も含まれている。\n　日本におけるベトナム反戦運動史研究では、ベ平連や学生運動が展開した活動についてはそれなりの研究蓄積がある。ところが、全国各地で多数の青年労働者が参加した反戦青年委員会によるベトナム反戦運動については、基礎的な研究も皆無といってよく、したがってベトナム反戦運動の通史的研究でも内容ある言及はほとんどなされていない。その結果、地域ごとに大きく異なる方針を持ち各々独自活動を展開していたにもかかわらず、反日共系の学生活動家とともにヘルメットをかぶり角材を振り回す「過激派」という一律な通俗イメージを問い直す作業はなされていないままである。\n　本稿が取り上げる事例は、北九州におけるベトナム反戦運動のハイライトとなった米軍弾薬輸送阻止闘争が、市民でも学生でもなく、青年労働者が個人で加盟した地域の反戦青年委員会がイニシアティヴを取ったユニークな非暴力直接行動だったことを明らかにしている。日本におけるベトナム反戦運動史研究には、さらなる地域の事例研究の積み上げと、運動主体の多元的な掘り下げが必要である。\n\n This article introduces documentary photographs taken in 1968 by the Fukuoka Area Headquarters of the Socialist Youth League, a youth movement organization of the \"young worker\" in Fukuoka. Before examining the photos, the article describes the time and geographical context in which the photos were taken. In the final section, some comments will be made on the meaning of documentary photographs, problems in interpretation, and the significance of  visual materials, for writing social/labor movement history.\n The main theme of the photographs introduced here was the nonviolent direct action against the Vietnam War in 1968 conducted by the Kitakyushu Anti-Vietnam War Youth Committee, which was formed mainly by the individual members of Shaseido Fukuoka (Fukuoka Area Division of the Socialist Youth League) who live in the Kitakyushu City area. The main action was to prevent the transport of ammunition to the U.S. Yamada Ammunition Depot, located in the middle of Kitakyushu City. However, the photographs also recorded the worker’s \"struggle against rationalization\" at the Kitakyushu City Council and the struggle for the removal of Itazuke U.S. Air Base immediately after the crash of the RF-4C phantom jet reconnaissance plane to a building under construction at Kyushu University. The latter accident had a significant impact on the U.S. military base realignment policy in the Far East.\n In the study of the history of the anti-Vietnam war movement in Japan, there has been a considerable accumulation of research on the activities of \"Beheiren\" movement as well as student movements. However, there is almost no academic research on the anti-Vietnam war movement carried out by the Anti-Vietnam War Youth Committee, in which many young workers participated across the country. Besides, there has been no work to reconsider the uniform image attached to them: \"extremists\" who was wearing a helmet and swinging a square timber alongside of the \"violent\" student activists.\n The case study in this paper reveals that the anti-Vietnam movement in Kitakyushu, which was highlighted by the anti-Vietnam movement to stop the transportation of ammunition by the U.S. military, was a unique nonviolent direct action initiated by the local Anti-Vietnam War Youth Committee, a group of individual young workers of men and women in their teens and twenties. It indicates that the study of the history of the anti-Vietnam war movement in Japan requires the accumulation of local case studies, with an eye for multidimensional analysis of the actors involved in the
