By using flowcharts for multifaceted prospect of experiment results, we hypothesized that pupils well understand the purpose of experiment, the ability to multifacetedly think the result from experiment is developed, and children can conclude without confusion after experiment. To verify the effects of the teaching method, experiment lessons were conducted at the 4th and 5th grades. Pupils used worksheets to make flowcharts during the lessons and answered to a questionnaire and a test before and after the lessons. Pupils’ descriptions on the worksheets and answers to the questionnaire and the test were analyzed.
