When compared to the previous eight years, the results of the 2021 survey showed different trends in the following three main areas.\nFirst, with regard to information behavior, that is, \"media for obtaining information about society\" and \"means of watching the news,\" there was a decrease in the proportion of Internet use, which had been increasing linearly until 2020.\nSecond, with regard to “political satisfaction” and “trust in politicians,” which were at their highest levels of dissatisfaction and distrust in 2020, both dissatisfaction and distrust decreased in 2021.\nThird, in the relationship between political satisfaction and trust in politicians, we were unable to confirm a unique tendency that had existed in the youngest age group (18-29), namely, very high distrust in politicians despite low dissatisfaction with politics.
