However, the study of aquatic organism cultivation became compulsory in 2021, and researchers have not yet established an understanding of students’ conceptual readiness for this topic. For this study, researchers distributed a Google Forms survey to a group of junior high school students to determine their understanding of aquatic organism cultivation. In total, of the 1,064 junior high school students who responded, more than 70% had some experience of aquatic organism cultivation, while about 55% o responded in the negative. Only 20% of students knew the correct answer to a question about changes in the development of the aquaculture industry in the past 30 years. Also, the prosperity of the local industry had little impact on students’ motivation, although students with previous experience in keeping aquatic organisms were more motivated to learn about them., text, application/pdf}, pages = {1--12}, title = {中学校技術科「水産生物の栽培」に関する生徒理解に向けたアンケート分析<教育科学>}, volume = {72}, year = {2023}, yomi = {イワモト, ノリコ and アラキ, ユウジ and マエダ, ハジメ and カンバヤシ, アキオ and イワサキ, タスク} }
