In the measures that we developed as the teaching method to improve students' positive outlook on the future, students are introduced the relationship between science and technology, engage in activities to think about \"social issues\" related to science and technology, and research information on science and technology related to their own dreams by using “Science Portal”. Verification lessons using the method were conducted in science classes at a lower secondary school. The results suggested that the program is effective in helping students realize the connection between science learning and their own future and society, and in improving their positive outlook on the
