年と2021年に実施した家庭における幼児のパソコン等の使用実態に関する調査について、20 年の経年比較をし、個別の家庭の状況ではなく、20 年間の全体的な傾向の変化を考察した。加えて、ICT 等に対する保護者の自由意見についても考察した。パソコンの所有については、2001年時点で80％近くの家庭にパソコンがあり、2021年には更に96％まで増えていた。一方、家庭における幼児のパソコン使用経験は、85％から30％程度に減っていた。また、幼児の使えるテレビゲーム等も、56％から20％ほどに減っていた。20年の間に誕生したスマートフォンやタブレットは、90％以上の使用経験があり、使用頻度も高かった。パソコンやテレビゲーム等の使用が減り、それらに変わってスマートフォン等の使用が増える傾向が明らかになった。保護者の自由意見からは、ICT
