Therefore, it is urgently necessary to cultivate human resources who can contribute to the strengthening of the embedded technology. However, almost no embedded technology education has been performed in the school education in Japan. Therefore, in this study, as an example of the practical learning theme for the embedded technology education, the learning type infrared remote controller was developed utilizing a small 32-bit ARM microcomputer LPC810. The developed remote controller can analyze infrared signals transmitted from general remote controllers, and it is considered that the developed remote controller is useful to promote the
